So Your Event is in Limbo…

The past several days have brought unprecedented changes and challenges to our everyday lives. There are events being canceled or postponed left and right! It’s hard to know right now if our summer events will happen or not, BUT we still want all our Fairs/Events to be prepared when the time comes. So, here are some tips and tricks on the best way to place your awards order.

Leave Off the Year

Leaving the year off of your award seems so simple, yet many people do not think about it when they are ordering. If you leave that year off of your award, it gives you the opportunity to save it and use it for the following year’s event. This eliminates wasted awards and cuts costs,  which ultimately saves your event some money to use elsewhere in your budget and let’s be honest – who doesn’t like that?

But We HAVE to Have the YEAR!

Now, I know there are some of you that HAVE to have the year on your award. Hey, I get it! We have some tips for that too! Our most popular suggestion for that is to order Rosettes. If you order our rosettes with the year on the button and don’t use them all, next year you can order replacement buttons with the current year on them. This is such an easy fix AND it saves you a little money too!

Order the Basics

If your event is in limbo, the best advice I can give you is to order the basic necessities. Waiting to the last minute is a gamble, and you could end up with no awards! So, try to order enough to get you by. If you typically order First through Tenth, maybe you order First through Third just so you have something. This way you have some of the basics if you decide to have your event last minute.

Staats Awards is committed to doing everything we can to help and support your upcoming event. We hope this blog will help you to order for your event through this challenge. If you have any more questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out!
